Gorenji Leskovec is a settlement to the west of Senovo in the Krško municipality in eastern Slovenia. The area was traditionally part of Styria. It is now included in the Spodnjeposavska statistical region.[2]

The local church in the centre of the village, is dedicated to Saint Anthony the Hermit and belongs to the Brestanica parish. It was built in the 17th century. In the 18th century the belfry and two side chapels were added.[3]
